Challenge 162 of Articulate E-learning Heroes challenges was to share an example of a financial calculator that can be used in e-learning. Knowing how to build calculators gives a solid foundation for working with variables. Such calculators can be used to increase interactivity in any e-learning course, not just finance and business courses.
For this challenge, I decided to create a travel expenses calculator. I love travelling and whenever we come back from a trip, we always create our expenses list and use our prior list to budget any upcoming trip. I thought building such a travel expenses calculator in storyline 2 will be handy 😊
Apart from increasing interactivity, adding calculators is also a great way to personalize a course for the learners. They can add their own data and get personalized results. It thus enhances their learning experience.
